 2024 MIPS eCQM Reporting

CMS makes changes to MIPS reporting requirements each reporting year. Some are regulatory changes that are required based on timelines set in the MACRA law and others are designed to improve the quality of information gathered through QPP reporting while reducing administrative burden for clinicians.

What’s changed?

CMS is enforcing the requirement that MIPS eCQMs must be calculated and submitted using certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT).

Who does this affect?

Any MIPS eligible clinicians who report eCQMs for quality reporting.

What do I need to do?

If you currently use eCQMs for quality, make sure your vendor has the appropriate CEHRT certifications required by CMS before the end of the reporting year.

How can Alpha II help?

Alpha II is an ONC-certified CEHRT, which means we can calculate and submit all eCQMs on your behalf. Our interactive dashboards benchmark measures using CMS data to ensure accurate scoring, allowing you to see which measures will get you the highest quality score. We can also aggregate your data across multiple EHRs to create a single comprehensive patient record. Partner with a vendor who can meet all your QPP reporting needs.
